Our story
Hey, I’m Simon, the founder and chocolate maker, and I’ve always been a little obsessed with good food.
Growing up on a remote farm in the beautiful Marlborough Sounds with my sister Aimee, we learned early on that the best food starts with a deep respect for the land. Those roots shaped our passion for crafting chocolate that not only tastes incredible but also does right by the planet.
We’re all about keeping things simple and sustainable. From our packaging to our process, we believe in minimal fuss and maximum flavour. We carefully select the finest cacao from farms that respect their land and communities because we know that great chocolate starts at the source. Every choice we make, from the raw ingredients we use to the way we craft each bar, is about creating the best-tasting chocolate without costing the earth. It’s our way of making chocolate that feels good in every sense.
